Successmaker Academy

February 19th, 2009 Stripling will begin the "Successmaker Academy" for parents and students. Every Thursday February 19 to April 2, from 5:00 - 6:30 registered parents will fill the computer labs to learn how to utilize Successmaker. We will teach them how to run reports, set achievement goals and how to enhance their own academic understanding. Two separate classes will be conducted, one for our english speaking parents, taught by Taiwanika Walker (parent and LSC chairperson) and our spanish only parents will have Martha and I as instructors. The goal is to teach parents how to increase student performance in all subjects and especially on the CRCT's. We will host a launch party for all interested parents on Tuesday February 10 from 5-6:30. Please call the parent center @ 770 582-7590 to register for the successmaker academy.
